Chris is a Chartered Engineer and strategic thinker with 25 years’ global rail experience. Chris’ passion for the rail industry drives him to provide practical, pragmatic, thoughtful advice on a range of issues showcasing his in-depth knowledge of the railway and its systems.
Chris specialises in decarbonisation of the railway, rolling stock procurement advice for vendors, purchasers, and manufacturers, due diligence and advisory for investors in rolling stock, strategic planning including looking at future technological and innovative improvements, and improvement of rolling stock standards.
Chris is experienced in leading, managing, and developing teams across diverse backgrounds, cultures, and skills, building effective working relationships to investigate, analyse, and recommend appropriate outcomes from varieties of different data sources.
Out of office: Chris enjoys standard and narrow gauge railway modelling, and medieval re-enactment.
