One of the UK’s most sought-after rail specialists, Malcolm’s vast career has spanned 32 years in railway fleet operations, rolling stock, depots, maintenance and complex projects. He has a first class honours degree in mechanical engineering and has held numerous frontline technical and general management positions within a variety of TOCs and ROSCO customer-facing positions.
Key projects include: McNulty VfM, Thameslink, InterCity Express Programme, Crossrail, HS2, and ERTMS.
Out of office: Malcolm continues his passion for exploration and enjoys mountain biking. Ever a practical engineer, he still has a childhood fascination with tractors and construction machinery.
