Interim New Trains Project Manager

Avanti West Coast (AWC) required a project manager on an interim basis to oversee the new trains procurement until a permanent member of staff was appointed. Following IPEX's support to a successful franchise mobilisation, IPEX provided an experienced rolling stock consultant and project manager to fulfil the interim role. IPEX’s role involved leading engagement with Hitachi Rail and Rock Rail for AWC, coordinating AWC internal engagement with the new trains project, and launching project management processes for the project, laying the foundations for the permanent project manager to hit the ground running.
