RDG decarbonisation plan

Oxera Consulting (Oxera) was commissioned by Rail Delivery Group (RDG) to undertake a study into the wider benefits of UK rail decarbonisation. In advance of the full Network Rail TDNS Programme Business Case being publicly available, Oxera required an independent UK rail decarbonisation programme to be developed to inform their analysis. IPEX analysed the TDNS Interim Business Case, researched the latest capabilities in alternative traction, and engaged with industry stakeholders to develop a detailed and robust decarbonisation programme. This work fed into further analysis by Oxera and NSAR to support RDG in the build up to COP26.
