A confidential financier wished to undertake a valuation of its combined direct and indirect equity and debt interests in a UK light rail operating company in preparation to sell its stake. IPEX was retained as a key member of a wider advisory team, providing technical due diligence which included a review of documentation, an inspection of rolling stock assets, an assessment of organisation and maintenance operations, and a review of proposed major rolling stock maintenance. IPEX provided a technical report and supported meetings with bidders during the sale process.
