IPEX were appointed as Akiem's (DWS owned) technical and commercial advisor for their acquisition of the Macquarie European Rail portfolio. This included Class 379s, Class 70s, Class 66s, HYA wagons and Stadler GTW fleet (NL). IPEX's focus was on the approvals, technical documentation, maintenance history and management and asset quality for each of the asset types. This included physical inspections and capex and opex forecasting to provide Akiem the required information for their successful acquisition.
